Being in a darkroom is an eye opener. The fumbling in total darkness as the film cannister rolled out of my reach, to the endless tossing and dunking with eyes-on-the-clock, and the strip tests for print enlargements.
I must say, hours flit by when you are in that dimly-lit enclosure, surrounded by others who are intent on their own film-developing. And of course, not forgetting the sense of accomplishment at the end of it.
Time-consuming but mighty fun!
