Food stalls featuring local delights from Chinatown (Chinese) to Joo Chiat (Peranakan) lined the pathways and even shops inside the Esplanade were open for food sampling (Just look at the amount of Haagen Daaz we conquered). This was followed by the highlight of the evening, the fireworks from the roof terrace. It was a good 7 mins of lights, colours and sounds and one of the best I've ever seen!
