Cool On The Exterior, Warm Within
Foggy Woggy

This year's autumn festival seems rather lacklustre as compared to previous years. So much smoke is hanging in the air that the moon can't be appreciated in its full glory. I haven't really seen kids wandering around with their lanterns either. Sigh.
Paper lanterns make me feel especially nostalgic. You know, those traditional types? Reminds me of my childhood days when I would balance it gingerly on the wooden rod, mindful of the lit candle inside as the wind blows it about. Of how I would yelp and dump it instantly as it caught fire.
My eyes are irritated and I've been coughing. I wish for a day of mindless, torrential rain!
