I suspect I might be blind.
We were at MediaCorp today and my boss made a remark, "Hope you weren't starstruck." After much confusion from my side, he concluded that I had not spotted Andrea De Cruz when she walked past us. Not that I'm a fan of hers but I was still pretty much bummed out.
The second time this happened, I underwent the same initial state of confusion. Then he exclaimed, "You mean you didn't see Diana Ser? She was just beside us!" And all I could respond was "When??? Where??"
I am really rather hopeless.
But the fun part was when we were on the way to the editing room. We passed by the transparent glass room where the CNA presenters usually did their news broadcast, where you can spot the people working in the office behind the news anchor. Well, I had to walk through that office on the way. And it was a definitely an unique experience being on the other side of the tv screen for once.
I was surprised to see several students in school uniform loitering around. Don't need to study meh?? Star-gazers who wait it out to catch a glimpse of their favourite idols. I was never one of those people. Heh. The most extreme that I have resorted to is collecting posters and articles on the celeb. Which isn't that extreme actually.
I must say that the Caldecott Hill offices are really a maze. I think I can get lost in there and never find my way out...ever.
